exquisite corpse

the exquisite corpse sentence generator

The exquisite corpse was invented by members of the surrealist movement. It is a game in which players contribute random words to a previously agreed upon sentence structure without knowing what other words have been added.

To play on paper, players sit around a table. Each player writes on a sheet of paper a definite or indefinite article and an adjective, making sure their neighbors cannot see them. The sheet of paper is then folded so as to conceal the words, and passed to the next player. Each player then writes a noun, conceals it, and the process is repeated with a verb, another definited or indefinite article and adjective, and finally another noun. The papers are then unfolded and the sentences read out.

The game aquired its name from the first sentence created this way. The exquisite corpse shall drink the new wine.
